Income tax return (aangifte inkomstenbelasting)
For employees, pensioners, homeowners and fiscal partners. We look for the deductions you may not know about: mortgage interest on your own home, healthcare costs, gifts, alimony.
Living in Nootdorp, Ypenburg, Leidschenveen, Delft or The Hague and not sure what the Belastingdienst wants from you? Vieveen A.B.C. is a small tax and accounting office in Nootdorp, run by the same person since 1994. We file Dutch income tax returns for internationals, explain the blue envelopes in plain English and sort out your benefits — in person or entirely remotely.
Book a free introductory meetingYou must file if the Belastingdienst sends you an invitation — the aangiftebrief, usually in February. Even without one you are expected to file if you owe tax, and you will want to file if you are due a refund: for example because you only worked part of the year, paid mortgage interest on your own home, or had high healthcare costs.
The tax year is the calendar year. The return opens on 1 March and is normally due by 1 May. If you need more time, an extension is possible, provided you ask for it before 1 May.
Everything a private individual needs from a tax office, with one person who knows your situation.
For employees, pensioners, homeowners and fiscal partners. We look for the deductions you may not know about: mortgage interest on your own home, healthcare costs, gifts, alimony.
Get your refund spread over the year instead of once a year — or avoid a large bill afterwards when your income or situation changes.
Healthcare, rent and childcare benefit: applying, keeping your estimated income up to date, and dealing with a repayment letter.
An assessment, a request for information or a reminder you don't understand? We read it, explain it in plain English and respond on your behalf.
Inheritance tax (erfbelasting) and gift tax (schenkbelasting) returns, filed carefully and within the deadlines.
Buying a home, becoming fiscal partners, moving, retiring: what it means for your taxes, explained before it happens.
We start with a free, no-obligation conversation. You talk, we listen.
You hear exactly what we will do and what it costs, before we start. No surprises.
You hand over your documents, we handle the rest — and keep you informed.
For most returns we need the documents below. Not sure you have everything? Send what you do have — we will tell you what is missing.
The office is in Nootdorp, between The Hague and Delft — ten minutes from Ypenburg and Leidschenveen. Clients come from Nootdorp, Pijnacker, Delfgauw, Ypenburg, Leidschenveen, Den Haag, Zoetermeer, Delft, Rijswijk, Voorburg, Leidschendam and Berkel en Rodenrijs, and because most of the work is done remotely, from further afield too.
Call, email or send the form. The introductory meeting is free, and you will know what we can do for you and what it costs before anything starts.
